ABOUT

Studio_Raya is a creative studio based in the heart of Amsterdam, specialised in art direction, curation and production. From large-scale public installations to visual storytelling, we shape environments and intrigue audiences through the transformative power of art.

OUR BELIEF

We believe art isn’t just decoration - it’s emotional infrastructure. That’s why we work with municipalities, brands, and cultural institutions to elevate the quality and impact of art in both public and commercial spaces.

OUR ROLE

As a studio, we fuse art direction with curation and production. We help organisations create meaningful collaborations with artists and designers, from concept development to launch.

OUR OFFER

1. For public & commercial spaces: We curate immersive, site-specific art that enhances brand value, civic engagement, and placemaking. [discover more]

2. For creative & cultural brands: We design campaigns and brand identities for creative institutions that want to stand out of the crowd. [discover more]

OUR AESTHETIC

Our curation and aesthetic is often rooted in mythology, surrealism and the ethereal, creating dreamlike installations and visuals that let people drift into new worlds.

Raya van der Kroon is an Art Director and Creative Producer with extensive international experience.

As a former in-house producer at London-based curation company Alter-Projects, Raya worked on immersive exhibitions, site-specific murals and public sculptures with globally recognised artists. She has led public art commissions and brand collaborations in cities like London, Berlin, Shanghai and New York - working for clients such as Brookfield Properties, The Singleton, Molton Brown and Givaudan.

Returning to Amsterdam, she managed contemporary art spaces such as Looiersgracht 60 and A Flag, and currently advises on cultural funding for public events at the Stimuleringsfonds.

Raya’s vision blends a strong artistic eye with pragmatic production experience. Her work today focuses on curating and directing projects that carry meaning - rooted in mythology, surrealism and the belief that art has the ability to transform spaces and minds alike.
